Housed in a 40mm 904L stainless steel Oyster case with a Triplock screw-down crown, the watch is fitted with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a bidirectional 24-hour bezel finished in Rolex’s proprietary ceramic. The glossy black dial features luminous Chromalight hour markers and Mercedes-style hands, including the signature blue-tipped GMT hand for tracking a second time zone, alongside a magnified date aperture at 3 o’clock beneath the Cyclops lens. The case is water resistant to 100 metres. The watch is finished on a solid-link stainless steel Oyster bracelet, secured with a folding Oysterlock clasp. Powering the piece is Rolex’s automatic Calibre 3186, COSC-certified as a Superlative Chronometer and offering an approximate 48-hour power reserve, with a Parachrom hairspring and independently adjustable local hour hand for effortless time zone changes.
