Nicknamed the “Bruce Wayne” by collectors, the reference 126710GRNR does something no other steel GMT in the current lineup manages: it disappears on the wrist, offering a far more understated presence than its Pepsi or Batman siblings. Housed in the signature 40mm Oystersteel case with a monobloc middle case and screw-down case back and winding crown, the watch is fitted with a bidirectional Cerachrom bezel that shifts from a near-black to a cool metallic-grey depending on the light, a two-tone bezel that behaves like a single-tone bezel. The glossy black lacquer dial is set off by a green GMT hand and green “GMT-Master II” text, adding a touch of colour to the otherwise monochromatic design, with broad hour markers and hands filled with long-lasting luminescent material for excellent low-light legibility. The watch is fitted to an Oyster bracelet with the brand’s folding Oysterlock safety clasp and Easylink comfort extension link. Powering the piece is the in-house Calibre 3285, an automatic movement featuring the Chronergy escapement and Parachrom hairspring for enhanced shock and magnetic resistance, with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours, and the case offers water resistance to 100 metres.
